Welcome to the Routes Page

Here you will find routes (categorized by miles) to help you plan your rides around the Blue Mountain Area. Route names used here will try to be duplicated on the local ride pages to help you identify upcoming rides. These routes are only guidelines for routes and may be modified by the ride leader. If you wish to submit a route, please do so through the feedback page or send and with an attachment.

Click on the route name and you can view route details including every turn and a map.

Distance:
Five to Nine (5 - 9) Miles

Reser - Kendall - Cottonwood Loop** (3.3 miles): This is a short loop with one hill, and some steady up and down grades. This is an excellent route for interval training and for those who need a good workout in a short time.

Distance: Ten to Fifteen (10 - 15) Miles

Distance: Sixteen to Twenty-Five (16 - 25) Miles

Mill Creek - Five Mile - Reser Loop** (16.5 miles): Want a good workout in a short period of time? The first 4 miles is a very slight up grade and provides for a good warm-up. The rest of the ride takes you over rolling hills and slight grades with one fair sized hill to climb ( five mile hill.)

Distance: Twenty-Six to Fifty (26-50) Miles

Kooskooskie Ride** (29 miles): If you like trees, streams and fresh air, this is the ride for you. There is a 1000 ft elevation change in the 14.5 miles from Walla Walla to Kooskooskie. The best part is the 1000 ft (mostly downhill) ride back. There is some small rolling hills involved but well worth the ride.
Waitsburg Loop** (40 miles): A medium hard ride with a 3/4 mile steep hill and multiple rolling hills between Walla Walla and Waitsburg.

Distance: Fifty or more  (50+) Miles

Dayton - Patit ** (80 miles): Leaving Walla Walla this route takes you through the back roads of the county to Dayton. On the outskirts you will enjoy one of the area's sweetest gradual Blue Mountain ascents around.
